She Unites: Equity in Every Cycle
The Innovation Lab, 210 Jones St, in Dubuque
Join us for a night of conversation and community impact as Emily Rollins and Amanda Munger from The Red Basket Project shine a light on period poverty and the importance of period equity and access. We’ll discuss how a lack of basic period products keeps women and girls from work, school and daily life, and why the ability to menstruate hygienically is a matter of health, equity and dignity. Then we’ll roll up our sleeves to create period packs to be distributed to our neighbors in need!
Attendees are welcome to bring donations of regular-sized tampons, pads, pantiliners or wipes to be packaged into supply kits during this event.
